Fly fishing on the Bighorn River in Thermopolis, Wyoming remains good to excellent. Spring has arrived and we are welcoming the warmer days and a little vitamin D! Annelids, streamers, and baetis are catching fish. We have been catching a lot of healthy rainbows and browns. The fish have staged on the redds and we urge all to not disturb spawning grounds as this is the future of our fishery. In addition, the Bureau of Reclamation will be releasing water from Boysen Dam for a spring flush, March 27-28, to help wash silt and moss from the river to help these spawning trout.
