I had another great day drift boat fishing with Spencer on the Bighorn River in Thermopolis, Wyoming. The Bighorn is fishing really well and the flows are at a nice level with not much run-off this season. Moss season is upon us, but this is not preventing the fish from eating voraciously. Dry fly stimulators are starting to produce nice Brown trout. On the Green River on Seedskadee National Wildlife Refuge fish are taking cicadas and foam stimulators, and of course…streamers! Looks like we are in for a cold Memorial Day weekend, but at least we are getting some precipitation here in Wyoming. We are looking forward to getting up to Dubois this next week and checking out the Wind River and its tributaries. Reports coming in from up north are over ten inches of snow at 8000 feet outside of Dubois! Just when you think that summer is here…it changes.
