I had a great day of fly fishing with Brad and Andy on the Bighorn River. The fly fishing seems to be spot on for April fishing conditions with varied weather, blue wing olives coming off, and fantastic fishing. The guys caught eight brown trout, cutthroat, a plethora of rainbows, and two white fish (not really normal). Each of them landed several fish in the 20+ inch range and had one heck of a good time fishing. I give the Angler of the Day award to both as they had trout slayer skills (all fish released healthy). I had a great time fishing with these cousins and the wise-cracks came easy from all. My side still hurts from laughing! Fish were keyed on: bwo’s, baetis, sow bugs, and annelids.
