Fly fishing in Dubois, Wyoming is starting to really open up on the higher mountain lakes. Our friend, Tom, caught this beautiful Yellowstone Cutthroat a few days ago just outside Dubois. I can say that this is the reddest cutthroat that I have ever seen. Such a beauty! We headed to the same area yesterday morning and I think we hit it on the coldest mornings of the summer. We had iced guides all morning, but the fishing was outstanding landing several nice fish on scuds and pheasant tails. We have a busy schedule coming up with many trips on the Green River and the Bighorn River. Our friends at Trout TV will be joining us this next week to shoot a show on our guide service. Keep posted for many more photos and reports to come.
