Guides Nick and Jeramie had a great day on the Bighorn River with Jerry yesterday. It was fun being able to take two guides with our old friend, Jerry, from Tennessee (originally from Thermopolis). We ended up boating over 40 fish, with a couple over the 20″ inch range. Fish were taking dry flies, nymphs, and the occasional streamer. Water temperatures are warm right now, so it is imperative to not keep the trout out the water too long, be gentle when handling them, and make sure they are rested before releasing them. The day did seem to hint at Fall, and we are looking forward to shedding these hot temperatures we have been getting the past couple of weeks. We are working on the Summer 2013 Fly Fishing video with highlights from the Bighorn, Green, and Wind Rivers. Keep posted friends!
