Rick and I had a fantastic February day on the Bighorn River in Thermopolis today. In a short time, we had three double hook-ups and landed several other fish. Looks like fishing at the tail end of the storm paid off. I wasn’t too sure on my drive over with white out conditions and big wind, but the Bighorn side of the canyon was much nicer. We caught rainbows, browns, and cutthroat trout today nymphing. It definitely feels great to get off the ice and into the river. We are looking forward to another great season guiding fly fishing and doing a little of our own.
