Green River Fishing Report: Fontenelle, Wyoming: The fly fishing on the Green River is definitely heating up right now along with the weather on the right day. Spring is definitely right around the corner and we love to guide and fish on the Green River throughout the spring into early summer before temperatures get too hot. We have trips going out this week and will keep you posted on the most current conditions. We have been catching nice healthy rainbows in deeper water in order to avoid any potential spawners.

Hot flies right now include: annelids, scuds, midges. It is spring and rainbows are spawning. Please avoid fishing and walking through shallow spawning beds (redds). These spawning grounds are the future to healthy and productive fisheries.
