We have been very busy guiding on the Green River in Seedskadee National Wildlife Refuge. The past two days were fantastic. John caught several fish over 20 inches including this big Brown that taped 22 inches. Fish were keying in on the caddis and mayfly hatch, and were eager to take big ugly streamers as well. We did not do any nymph fishing at all, so nothing to report there. The weather was nice, but the wind picked up both afternoons making things interesting at times. John did a great job! We have been very busy and head back out for a few more days tomorrow. Keep posted for your Bighorn River fly fishing guide report from Thermopolis soon. Next week we will be on the Green River, Bighorn River, and Dubois waters.
