We had a great day fly fishing Nick and his wife on the Green River in Seedskadee National Wildlife Refuge a few days ago. The day was stellar catching fish on dry flies, nymphs, and streamers. There was a nice caddis hatch with a few drakes in the mix. Not only did Nick catch this nice CutBow, but we saw Blue Herons, Sandhill Cranes, and large Pelicans gobbling our trout! There are an abundance of smaller fish (10-15 inches) that we caught. It is good to see that fish are reproducing and re-filling the population for those big hogs found on the Green River in this stretch of water. We are truly lucky to be able to guide on this section of river in Wyoming! We were the only boat on the river. We have a super busy week coming up with two more days on the Green River and two days shooting a segment with Trout TV. Keep posted for more photos coming soon. We are living the dream in Wyoming!
