Spring has been a lion this year in Wyoming with much needed moisture and big storms. Between storms though, the fishing has remained outstanding. This weekend was a nice break from the stormy weather and conditions were perfect for some amazing fly fishing on the Green River. We caught a lot of nice Rainbow trout, Browns, Cutthroats, and one foul hooked whitefish. Fish seemed to be keying in on annelids and baetis nymphs. We definitely stirred a few on big ugly streamers. We were fortunate enough to see bald eagles, moose, pelicans, swans, and herons. The Green River is such a special and wild place to fish. Definitely a must fish river when in Wyoming.
