It has been nice getting into the mountain country of Dubois, Wyoming for some spring fly fishing action. Scott and I headed to a tributary of the Wind River this last weekend and did quite well. We managed to catch some nice Browns and Snake River Cutthroat trout all sub-surface on a legendary local pattern, the LB and variations of this pattern. Just a heads-up for fisherman venturing into the mountains, the grizzly bears are out so pay attention and carry your bear spray. We saw a large grizzly in Yellowstone National Park two days ago. Such an amazing and powerful creature. You have to love Wyoming! It truly is like no place on earth. To see more photos of this last week check out our facebook page! We are busy guiding trips between Dubois and the Bighorn River in Thermopolis the next few days, so keep posted.
