Finally, it looks like we are out of our typical cold streak that we get in Northwestern Wyoming every year! Temperatures have settled in more reasonable digits and sunshine has been abundant. Lately, we have been focusing on ice fishing with the kids, and trying to get them turned on to the fishing and enjoying the fresh winter Wyoming air. We would like to congratulate our friend Asha, who caught this beautiful Rainbow last Sunday on a “secret” (not so secret really) lake in Missouri Valley. There is nothing better than seeing our kids out on the ice truly enjoying what Wyoming fishing has to offer in the winter. The Bighorn River in Thermopolis has finally warmed up as well and the fishing, with the right weather, has been producing good results. Dunoir Fishing is happy to announce that we have secured our own permits on the Green River below Fontenelle Dam located near Seedskadee National Wildlife Refuge. We will be offering drift boat fly fishing trips and “blast and cast” trips on both the Green River and Fontenelle Resevoir for the 2013 season. We are hoping to also offer additional “blast and cast” trips on the Bighorn this season along with our fantastic fly fishing trips as usual. We have cleared the NEPA process with the BLM and are awaiting further word. Keep posted for more info coming soon!
