Bighorn River March Fishing Report: Tim and I started March off right with a great day of fishing on the Bighorn in Thermopolis. The temperatures were chilly, but the sunshine kept us warm enough, and our fly rod guides didn’t freeze too bad. We enjoyed the good fishing, icy terraces, and laughs. In one hole, we landed four brown trout in a row! Fish were keying in on small nymphs, midges, and annelids. We are back out on the river this week, so please keep posted for more reports to come.
BIG NEWS! Dunoir Fishing Adventures is closing on roughly 100 acres of prime Bighorn River front property near Hot Springs State Park in Thermopolis, Wyoming. The new property lends itself to great fishing, hunting, recreational opportunities, and has absolutely stunning views and access to the Bighorn River. Our new land is private and has a wilderness-like feel to it even though it is so close to Thermopolis. We have our work cut out for us and some exciting plans in the works, so please keep posted as we move forward into an exciting new chapter of our fly fishing experience. Dunoir Fishing Adventures is thankful for the opportunity to carry on our long Wyoming family legacy, and plans on passing this down to the fifth generation. We would like to thank Kirby Ditch Company Board and Tom Nelson of ReMax for all of the help in acquiring this pristine property. More photos are posted on our Facebook page.
